The EBF boys defeated the Cardinal Friday night 78-44. Great win for the EBF boys and Coach Leffler.
With only five regular season games left in the season, the postseason is in the sights of the EBF basketball teams. The EBF girls and boys teams faced Cardinal last Friday night for a successful senior night. The girls continued their conference win streak, while the boys picked up their first win of the season.
The Rockets will be road warriors for the rest of the regular season with four of the five games being away. The regional pairings are predicted to come out February 5th for boys basketball and February 7th for girls basketball to determine their paths to Wells Fargo Arena. The girls state tournament will be held March 3rd-8th and the boys state tournament will be held March 10th-14th.
The Rockets are looking to make some noise in the rest of the regular season and carry their successes into the postseason. The EBF girls team looks to hold onto their #1 ranking and make a third consecutive trip to the state tournament while the boys look to build momentum off their big win and make another trip to the substate final.
