The EBF volleyball team has advanced to the state tournament semifinals. As previously announced there will be a 1 pm dismissal on Wednesday.
To allow our students and staff the opportunity to participate and support the team, the school schedule will be adjusted as follows on the dates EBF competes:
Wednesday, November 6: Dismissal at 1:00 pm
Thursday, November 7: Dismissal at 1:00 pm
Please note that each building will communicate its specific dismissal procedures. Should the team no longer be competing, we will resume our normal school schedule.

The volleyball team will travel to ADM (Adel) on Wednesday, Oct. 30th - 7pm to play Tri-Center. Tickets must be purchased online with gates opening at 5:45pm. Information for the upcoming 3rd-6th grade boys & girls basketball season. This clinic is important to help us organize teams for the upcoming season. The $35 (payable to EBF) will give each basketball player a t-shirt and the use of a reversible jersey for the season. I wanted to ensure that our families were aware of our 1:00 PM dismissals on Tuesday, October 22nd, and Thursday, October 24th.
We will have just one lunch period on these two days, which will be served starting at 12:30 (after our 8th-period class). Lunch will be a grab-and-go option. Students who drive or are picked up by a parent/guardian may leave starting at 12:30 from their designated areas.
Bus riders will be able to stay and eat lunch before getting on their bus to head home.

We have become aware that some students are participating in a trend of removing Nike Elite tags from their peers' backpacks. This behavior not only violates respect for their peers but also violates our student expectations.
As parents and guardians, your involvement is crucial in addressing this issue. We encourage you to have open discussions with your children about the impact of their actions and the importance of respecting others' property.
To support this, our school will reinforce our policies on respectful behavior and work with students to promote a positive school culture. We appreciate your partnership in guiding our students to make thoughtful choices.
