On Wednesday, May 3rd, EBF Jr/Sr High School will welcome 26 local businesses and 10 colleges to our second annual Senior Rocket Launch event! This event will allow our senior students to gain real world experience interviewing with the organizations that best fit their future plans. Last year’s event was hugely successful, and a few students walked away with actual job offers!
Interviews will begin at 12:30 p.m. and run through approximately 3:00. Each student will have a minimum of three interviews lasting 10 minutes each, and the students will receive an evaluation from each organization they interviewed with providing feedback on their interview skills.
Our seniors have been working hard on their cover letters and resumes for this event and are being encouraged to dress professionally for their interviews. This is a fabulous opportunity for these students to present themselves to businesses they may otherwise not be able to meet with. Please encourage them to do their best!!!!
