The Homecoming parade will start at 6:30pm tonight, Sept. 28th with coronation/jersey auction/powder puff VB to follow at approx. 7:30pm in the HS gym. The doors to the HS will be open from 7-8pm -please utilize the gravel & grass parking areas around the HS building to make it easier for all participants & spectators to access the gymnasium.

7th Grade Volleyball will play this evening at Oskaloosa Christian - 726 North East Street in Oskaloosa - with games starting at 4:15pm. The 8th graders will hold practice at the HS with an activity bus leaving at 5:30pm.

From the Counseling Office: The EBF Jr/Sr High School Counseling office is inviting parents of all junior and senior high school students to attend an introductory meeting for our new mental health counselors on Thursday, September 14th from 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Wednesday, September 13th is Picture Day at the Jr/Sr High. Picture packets went home with students on Friday. Extra packets are available in the office.

Sept. 7 - Athletic Updates - JH Volleyball will play on one net at Chariton Middle School - 8th grade will start at 4:15pm with the 7th graders following at approx. 5:45pm. JH Football will have two games played at the HS with the 8th grade playing first starting at 4:15pm.

The HS Volleyball game at Cardinal will start at 5pm tonight with all games played on 1 net with this order - JV2, JV1, Varsity
The JV football game vs. Chariton has been canceled for this evening.
Reminder: NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 4th in observance of Labor Day.
Rocket Carnival will be held this evening starting at 5pm near the HS football field. The food trucks will be providing their normal menu and will be accepting cash/cards. All inflatables & games are free & will be available until 7pm this evening. The introduction of our fall activities (Meet the Rockets) for JH & HS will take place on the HS field starting at 7pm.
Admission to the football game at North Mahaska tonight is $6 for everyone - the livestream will be available on EBF.tv with Pat Powers/Mike Lane on the mic
The JV/V volleyball matches at Fairfield have been postponed for this evening, August 24th - a rescheduled date is not available at this time
Due to the warmer temperatures, we will be shortening JH practices for the remainder of the week. The activity bus will leave the HS at 5:15pm starting on Wednesday, August 23 through Friday, August 25th.
